OUR STORIES, OUR HISTORIES

No one is untouched by the ideas of gender, race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. They shape and define our everyday. Photography has the power to bridge language barriers, but oral histories have the power to lift up the nuances and stories from individuals and communities. These videos are straightforward unfiltered views into each participants lens of life. It brings their voice into the larger conversations of immigration, trans rights, disability justice, transformative justice, and all the other movements that queer APAs are a part of.

These are our stories, the ones we choose to tell, the parts of ourselves we choose to share.
