Spectra Speaks

Spectra, a self-proclaimed Afrofeminist writer, media advocate, and love evangelist, envisions a world “where social justice is reframed as a shared commitment to fairness; where social change in our communities is re-imagined as an intentional social healing of our personal relationships; and where activism is anchored by individual commitments to self-awareness and self-improvement.”

Spectra Speaks is her personal blog where Spectra covers everything from white-allyship in the age of Ferguson, to personal resolutions, and the meanings of diasporic homecomings. Spectra is the co-founder and managing editor of the Queer Women of Color Media Wire (QWOC Media Wire), as well as the creative director at the SAIA Company.
