Historically Queer
Community historian and activist, Alice Hom, founded Historically Queer as a way to share over 50 interviews with lesbian activists of color, collected for her dissertation. Historically Queer is a bi-weekly podcast that features the voices of those who pioneered the fight for LGBTQ rights, and raised the country’s political consciousness about the ways race, gender, and sexuality are inseparable. Historically Queer “will connect the present to the past by uncovering stories of queer activism by people of color throughout the decades.”
