Asians & Friends Houston, Inc. (A&FH) is a non-profit social group for gay and lesbian Asians and any one interested in furthering their understanding of the gay and lesbian cultures of Asia. Everyone is invited to participate in activities sponsored by the organization which includes socials, fundraising events, and other community activites.
The National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance is a federation of LGBTQ Asian American, South Asian, Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander Organizations. NQAPIA seeks to build the capacity of local LGBT AAPI organizations, invigorate grassroots organizing, develop leadership, and challenge homophobia, racism, and anti-immigrant bias.
The purpose of GAPA is to provide a progressive forum where we can develop an agenda by actively pursing and addressing issues that directly affect gay & bisexual Asian/Pacific Islanders. In addition, we are building a community for gay & bisexual Asian/Pacific Islander men where we can be supportive of each other and achieve empowerment for ourselves by developing leadership.

API Equality – Northern California works at the intersection of the Asian & Pacific Islander (API) and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ) communities to empower community members, advance civil rights policies and protections, and promote respect and understanding for cultural and community diversity.
They have a youth internship program to train future leaders, they are focused on cultivating intergenerational conversations, and provide workshops + trainings about LGBTQ APIs in a variety of communities.
API Equality-LA advocates in the Greater Los Angeles API Community for the fair treatment of LGBT people and marriage equality.
Founded in 1993, API Pride (formerly Asian Pacific Lesbians & Gays) is a group led by and for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer people of Asian and Pacific Islander descent in Oregon. We provide safe and supportive environments and opportunities to celebrate, educate and bring our communities together.

A Philadelphia-based group working to build community for Queer Asian + Pacific Islander lesbian, bisexual women, trans*, gender variant/queer/non-conforming identified folks through social gatherings, political action and good food. We came together in Philadelphia in 2009, and as we experience continual self-examination and transformation, we are gratefully challenged by the diversity of our experiences. We seek to be sensitive, intentional, and inclusive in our mission, especially around the myriad of gendered, ethnic, and national cultures within our community. This tension is an ongoing conversation that we honor.
APIQWTC was formed in Feb of 1999 as a means of networking & communicating among Bay Area Asian & Pacific Islander queer women’s and transgender people’s organizations and constituencies. APIQWTC was formerly Asian Pacific Sisters (APS) and a part of Asian Pacific Lesbians and Bisexuals Network (APLBN), now APLBTN inclusive of Transgender Women.
